One of the challenges of having an on-line boutique is that we don't have any live interaction with our customers. A lot of times we're guessing and gambling on what your buying behavior may be. To help us better serve you, we collect information that gives us a better idea of what you may or may not like. When you place an order, we store you name, address, phone number, email as well as your product interests and purchase history. We do not maintain any electronic records of your credit card number. Again, this information is used internally for example, tax purposes or figuring out what our next promotion should be.

In order to continue to offer you the products you want, we have surveys to collect information. We use several shipping methods and will automatically calculate shipping and handling charges based on the carrier's rates:

UPS World Wide Expedited
An extra $2 handling fee per product will automatically be added.
UPS World Wide Expedited is the only international shipping option, all others are US domestic.
We do not deliver to any APO/FPO or P.O. Boxes.
Orders are processed on the same day received unless they arrive after 12:00pm PST. Then they will be processed the next business day.
Please note that we reserve the right to ship the goods using a different carrier but offering the same level of service.
Items shipped direct from the manufacturer will be shipped using their preferred carrier. You will be notified via email with all of the details.
Since we are located in California, we must charge sales tax for all products shipped to California. The sales tax in California varies by zip code, so we charge whatever the current sales tax rate is for that particular area.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return unused, resalable products for a refund or exchange within 10 days of the original date of delivery.
All refunds and exchanges are subject to final approval from our Customer Service Department.

All products must be in their original conditional with all tags, materials, manuals, etc. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number.
There is a 10% restocking fee on items we carry in house. For product specific restocking fees, please see the product details in the catalog. Due to the nature of specific products, some sales are final. You will also find further information on if a product cannot be returned.
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. We will only refund shipping costs if the return is the result of an error on our part.
We will do everything to accommodate your request for an exchange.
Exchanges will only be accepted with a Return Authorization Number (RA#).

The customer will pay shipping all shipping involved in this process:
1. To return the item.
2. For us to ship out the alternate product.
If in the unlikelihood that you need to exchange a product and we do not have it in stock, you will offered a full refund or store credit.
If in the event you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Once shipped, we cannot cancel or change your order. When you receive the shipment, contact the Customer Service Department at returns@chicbabyboutique.com and follow the above procedures for returns.

Products on our site may originate from various manufactures and locations. We do our best to keep our inventory accurate. However, due to popular demand, we sometimes run out of a product before we can remove it from our site. In the event that you purchase such an item, you will be contacted immediately and we will offer you a full refund or store credit.
Yes, it's the perfect way to send a gift! At a $4.00 charge, we'll wrap your gift in tissue paper and place it in a gorgeous gift bag. The recipient will be able to the re-use the bag. Some items are not available for gift-wrapping. Please see the product catalog for such details.
We can print one free personal message per order on the packing slip that accompanies the merchandise, even if you choose not to have anything gift-wrapped. (Prices won't appear on the packing slip.) The message can include up to 100 characters, including spaces. During checkout, if you indicate that something is a gift, you'll be taken to the gift page. There you can choose to have the item gift-wrapped ($4.00 per item) and/or enter your message (free).
